Since inventing a cabin between business & economy back in 1992 Virgin Atlantic's Premium Economy class has been the benchmark in its category. - Increase in Premium Economy capacity to 38 seats
- New wider leather seat - largest in its class
- Devoted cabin crew
- Upgraded meals served on china (Recent surveys reveal record Premium Economy meal satisfaction by passengers rating it good/excellent)

The seat combines a 38 inch seat pitch with a width of 21 inches, which is wider than BA Clubworld & CX Business Class, and around 3 inches wider than other airline's Premium Economy products. In addition, Premium Economy passengers already enjoy:
- Dedicated check-in
- Priority boarding
- Pre-flight bubbly and refreshments
- Fresh fruit and after dinner liqueurs
- 6 inches more legroom than in Economy class
- Adjustable head and foot rests
- Two dedicated washrooms
