1. Dates/Terms/Eligibility:
"The Red Hot Agent Celebration” promotion begins May 28, 2009 and ends July 31, 2009. No purchase necessary, agents may enter once each day during the promotion via an online game entry, by registering eligible ticket numbers on the promotional website, and by viewing Virgin product videos & PDFs online at the promotional website: www.VS25stillredhot.com
Eligible tickets must be validated on VS ticket stock, issued in the U.S. on VS coded & operated flights. Tickets must be issued between May 28, 2009 and July 31, 2009 for travel between May 28, 2009 and December 31, 2009.
The promotion is open only to selected/eligible U.S. travel agents with a valid IATA number or VS code in eligible states. Void where prohibited. Eligible travel agents must be legal residents of the U.S. and at least 18 years of age.
If travel agency does not allow personal bonus commissions or awards it must be noted in a letter so that the award may be paid directly to the Travel Agency.
2. How to enter: There are several ways to accumulate entries into the contest, all are via the promotional website: www.VS25stillredhot.com
Ticket registration: eligible tickets will be allotted entries as follows:
- Upper Class tickets are equal to 75 entries per ticket in this promotion
- Premium Economy tickets are equal to 50 entries per ticket.
- Economy tickets are equal to 25 entries per ticket.
Red Hot Quiz: view the 4 PDFs and correctly answer the corresponding questions. There are 4 product PDFs, by downloading all you will receive 50 entries (All cabins, Upper Class Cabin, Premium Economy Class Cabin and Economy Cabin)
View videos: view all three (3) Virgin product videos and receive 25 entries.
Play the game: Play the game once each day by finding the correct U.S. gateway and receive 25 entries.
3. Prizes:
Grand Prize: 1 randomly selected winner from all entries will receive:
Two Virgin Upper Class tickets from any Virgin U.S. gateway to London, plus 3 nights at The Metropolitan London Hotel in Park Lane.
Top Producer: earn the most entries for registering tickets, there are 3 prizes in this category:
1st place: will receive a pair of Virgin Upper Class tickets from any Virgin U.S. gateway to London
2nd place: will receive a pair of Virgin Premium Economy tickets from any Virgin U.S. gateway to London
3rd place will receive a pair of Virgin Economy tickets from any Virgin U.S. gateway to London
Note: If two or more agents earn the equal amount of entries, the winner will be determined by the value of the tickets issued and registered online.
First 25!: Be one of the first 25 to register eligible tickets in Upper Class, Premium Economy or Economy (normal and sale) and win the following:
Upper Class: 1st 25 qualified registrants will receive one $75 gift card
Premium Economy: 1st 25 qualified registrants will receive one $50 gift card

All other expenses not specified herein with respect to the above prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the Grand Prize is $31,124. The ARV of the Top producer-Upper Class is $29,624, Top producer-Premium Economy is $11,480 and Top Producer-Economy is $5,960. The ARV for the First 25 will be as follows: Upper Class - $75 per prize, Premium Economy - $50 per prize, Economy - $25 per prize. The value of each prize is based on current retail list price. A W-9 form (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification) will be forwarded to the winners for completion and a 1099 form will be prepared and forwarded to the winners at year's end.
All other expenses not specified herein with respect to the above prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners.
4. Random drawing:
Grand Prize winner will be chosen by a random drawing from all eligible entries received and by all methods combined. The winner will be notified by e-mail and required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability and Publicity form. Noncompliance will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Drawing for the "25th Red Hot Celebration” will be conducted August 3, 2009. Prizes will be awarded after all eligible tickets have been flown. All drawings for this promotion will be conducted in Scottsdale, AZ by an independent marketing/judging organization whose decision is final in all matters relating to the giveaways. Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting the online entry, the entry submitted by the person in whose name the e-mail account is registered will be considered the entrant.
5. Conditions:
Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-changeable. Cash or credit alternatives will not be offered. Virgin Atlantic reserves the right to substitute prizes of similar value should the specified prizes become unavailable. Prize winner and companion must travel together on all dates/flights and are responsible for all required travel documents (i.e.: valid passports, visas, inoculations, etc.). Winners must be at least 18 years of age and legal U.S. resident. Winner’s companion must also be at least 18 years of age and a legal U.S. resident. All travel for the Grand Prize must be completed by July 31, 2010. All travel for the Top Producer prize(s) must be completed one year after verification of flown registered tickets which could be after Dec. 31, 2009. Prize letters will be issued to the winners and the winners have one year from the date of the top producer prize letter to travel. Seats are capacity controlled and subject to availability at the time of booking. Blackout dates may apply. Virgin Atlantic’s condition of carriage shall apply to all air transportation.
By participating in this promotion, the winner grants the promoters permission to use their name and likeness for advertising and future promotional purposes without additional compensations (except where prohibited). Winner will depart from one of Virgin Atlantic’s U.S. gateway cities to London. Winners travel to/from these gateway cities will be at the winner's expense. Winners are liable for any tax liability accruing as a result of this promotion. This promotion is void where prohibited. Online entrants must have valid e-mail address and it is the entrant’s responsibility to update Virgin Atlantic of any change in their e-mail address. No transfer, assignment or substitution of a prize is permitted by any winner. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Virgin Atlantic, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this promotion.
