- The WestJet ‘From Mountains to Malls’ promotion begins June 1, 2009 and ends August 15, 2009.
- No purchase necessary, eligible agents may enter once each day during the promotion by successfully answering the quiz and/or by REFFERING A COLLEAGUE AND / OR BY registering qualifying tickets on the agent website, www.westjetinboundpromotions.com.
- The promotion is open to U.S. travel agents with a valid IATA, CLIA, TSI code or an affiliation with a host agency in Arizona, California and Nevada only. Eligible agents must be legal residents of the US and at least 18 years of age to participate. Registered tickets and/or quiz entries will be verified before the prize is awarded. Void outside the United States, in Puerto Rico, and all states other than Arizona, California and Nevada and where prohibited by law. If travel agency does not allow personal bonus commissions or awards it must be noted in a letter so that the award may be paid directly to the Travel Agency.

- Ticket registration: eligible tickets must be booked and ticketed on WestJet coded/operated flights. Tickets must be validated on WS (838) ticket stock and issued between June 1, 2009 and August 15, 2009, for travel between June 1, 2009 – Dec. 31, 2009. Eligible tickets must originate travel from LAX,SAN or SFO to Canada on WS coded/operated flight

Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the top prizes is as follows: Banff & Lake Louise (2 prizes) $2,650 each; Edmonton (2) $2,000 each. The ARV of prize is based on current retail and airfare as of April 17, 2009. A W-9 form (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification) will be forwarded to the winners for completion and a 1099 form will be prepared and forwarded to the winners at year's end.
The 1st 50 agents to register an eligible ticket which originates from San Diego, Los Angeles or San Francisco to Canada on WestJet will receive WestJet merchandise.
All other expenses not specified herein with respect to the above prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners.
Potential winners will be chosen by random drawing from all eligible entries received and by all methods combined. Winners will be notified by e-mail and required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability and Publicity form. Companion of winner will also be required to sign and return Liability/Publicity Release prior to travel. Noncompliance will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

All four drawings will be held at 12PM MST on the dates listed above. All drawings for this promotion will be conducted in Scottsdale, AZ by an independent marketing/judging organization whose decision is final in all matters relating to the giveaways. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting the online entry, the entry submitted by the person in whose name the e-mail account is registered will be considered the entrant.
Conditions:
- The winners are responsible for paying all applicable mandatory taxes, airport taxes, surcharges, fees, air passenger duty, and passenger service charges at the time of booking and any other applicable service charges.
- Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-changeable. Flight dates and times cannot be changed once they are booked. Cash or credit alternatives will not be offered. WestJet reserves the right to substitute prizes of similar value should the specified prizes become unavailable.
- WestJet’s flight bookings for award tickets must be made at least 1 month in advance of the passenger’s departure from the United States. An award letter will be presented to the winners with booking details. All travel must be completed by October 31, 2009.
- This offer is subject to availability and does not represent entitlement to book travel on a specific route on a specific date. The winner’s air seat will be booked in a specific class of service, which is a promotional booking class. All WestJet flights and fare types applicable to this offer are capacity controlled and subject to availability at the time of booking. Prizewinner and companion must travel together on same itinerary.
- WestJet reserves the right to change its flight schedule without prior notice.
- Winner and companion will be responsible for supplying valid and appropriate identification for entering into Canada. It is strongly recommended that travelers take out adequate travel insurance.
